Through somatic yoga, trauma-informed breathwork, and the gentle wisdom of horses, you’ll be guided into a state of deeper presence and connection with yourself and with the land around you.
This is not a workshop.
It is not a performance.
It is a rite of passage into the year ahead.
This 1 day retreat is about creating the space for clarity to naturally arise.

Gentle Somatic Yoga

A slow, intuitive practice designed to help you reconnect with your body, release held tension and cultivate awareness. This is not performance-based yoga it is grounding, accessible and deeply nourishing.Â
A gentle, embodied yoga practice led by Sita, designed to:

Prepare the nervous system for deeper work

Somatic Release Breathwork
A guided breathwork journey to support emotional release, nervous system regulation and inner clarity. You will be supported to move at your own pace in a safe and grounded way.
Facilitated by Neelam, this breathwork session guides you into a deeper state of awareness where stored patterns, emotions and subconscious holding can safely surface and release.
This session supports:

All breathwork is trauma-aware, choice-led and supported throughout.
Equine Therapy - Grounding with the Horses
Time spent in the presence of horses, whose calm and attuned nature supports regulation, grounding and emotional awareness. This experience often brings deep insight without words.
Horses are powerful mirrors of the nervous system. They respond to presence, authenticity, and coherence rather than words.
 During this session, you’ll have the opportunity to:

This is a deeply calming and often profound experience, especially after breathwork.

Neelam is the founder of Awakening Breathwork Academy, training Breathwork facilitators globally.  Having spent decades working in trauma-informed healing, breathwork, and embodied psychotherapy. Her work blends deep intuition with grounded therapeutic practice, supporting people to clear long-held patterns and reconnect with their innate wisdom.Â

Sita J Van Loenhout
Somatic Yoga Teacher & Embodied Movement Guide
Sita has spent many years guiding gentle, somatic‑based practices that support nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and reconnection with the body. Her work is grounded in yoga, subtle movement, and deep listening, offering a safe and steady space for people to soften and return to themselves.
Her approach is compassionate, intuitive, and deeply respectful of the body’s innate wisdom, inviting movement as a pathway to presence, ease, and inner connection.

A Gentle Note on Breathwork
This retreat includes a trauma-informed breathwork session designed to be supportive and grounding. Participation is always optional, and you are encouraged to listen to your body throughout the day.
For safety reasons, breathwork may not be suitable for those who are pregnant or have certain medical or psychological conditions. A short confidential health questionnaire will be provided prior to the retreat to ensure this experience is appropriate for you.
