So many of us have been taught that love is earned.

This is people pleasing and while it may look like kindness, at its core it is a trauma response.
When we're young, if love, safety, or belonging felt conditional, our nervous system learns that the only way to avoid rejection or conflict is to fawn, to make ourselves small, agreeable, "easy."
But what once kept us safe... now keeps us unseen.
It keeps us stuck in a cycle of over-giving, exhaustion, resentment and disconnection from our authentic self.
Science and psychology are clear: long-term people pleasing isn’t harmless — it’s harmful.
Constant self-silencing and over-giving dysregulates the nervous system, trapping the body in fight, flight, or freeze.
This chronic stress can trigger inflammation, weaken immunity, and contribute to autoimmune conditions like chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and thyroid disorders.
Studies in psychoneuroimmunology show that unexpressed emotions and stress responses literally alter how our cells function and how our DNA expresses itself.
Over time, this pattern erodes not only our health, but also our relationships, careers, and our sense of self-worth.
And it’s not just family trauma.
Schools reward obedience.
Society praises self-sacrifice, “good girls,” and never rocking the boat.
Because what we don’t know, we can’t heal.
Mindset work only reaches the conscious mind and research shows that only 5% of our behavior comes from the conscious mind.
The other 95% are run by the subconscious, which was programmed before the age of 7 when our brain was in theta (hypnotic) state.
This is why willpower alone can’t stop people pleasing.
It lives in the body. It lives in the subconscious.
Trauma release breathwork gives you direct access to this subconscious programming, bypassing the thinking mind and opening the body to release what’s been stored for years — sometimes lifetimes.

My path began in the fires of trauma, born into violence and silence, where I first learned to make myself small in order to survive.
For years I wore the mask of the pleaser, the peacekeeper, the one who carried everyone else’s pain.
But in the breaking...
I found my breath.
And through the breath I remembered...
I am not here to be small. I am here to be whole.
For more than 25 years I have devoted my life to the healing arts as an International Breathwork Practitioner, Holistic Psychotherapist, Yoga Teacher, and Shamanic Medicine Woman.
I have studied with masters and wisdom keepers around the world, weaving trauma-informed breathwork, psychotherapy, yoga, and shamanic medicine into a unique tapestry of science and soul.
My soul’s devotion is to guide others into the same remembrance: that the love, power, and freedom you seek have always been within you, waiting.
The Journey Home is born of this devotion — an offering to help you dismantle the patterns that no longer serve, release the weight of people pleasing, and return to the truth of who you are: radiant, empowered, and deeply loved.
